ChiChi go to buy ~~~~
Chichi followed her mom to go grocery shopping, a time she looked forward to the most every day. As an energetic and lovable Golden Retriever, Qiqi always expressed her boundless curiosity and love for the outside world with her shining eyes and wagging tail. The morning sunlight filtered through the gaps in the tree leaves, casting a warm glow on their path, adding a touch of coziness to this routine outing.
Mom wore lightweight house clothes and carried an eco-friendly shopping bag, while Qiqi trotted obediently at her heels. Occasionally, she would look up at Mom, as if confirming that everything was alright. Their destination was a bustling market not far from home, where not only were there fresh fruits and vegetables but also stalls selling Qiqi's favorite meat bones and snacks. For Qiqi, this was not just a simple shopping trip but also an exciting adventure filled with surprises.
As soon as they entered the market, various scents mingled together, assaulting Qiqi's keen sense of smell. The fresh fishy smell, the ripe fruit aroma, and the tantalizing fragrance of grilled meat from afar made Qiqi's nose twitch constantly, and her eyes sparkled with excitement. She carefully navigated through the crowd and stalls, occasionally pausing to sniff at the goods on a stall or gazing at the vendor with gentle eyes, hoping for a bit of attention or a small treat as a reward.
Mom, meanwhile, kept an eye on Qiqi's safety while selecting ingredients for tonight's dinner at various stalls. Whenever she stopped to talk to a vendor, Qiqi would sit obediently nearby, patiently waiting. Occasionally, she would gently place her paw on Mom's leg, as if asking, "Mom, am I being good?" Such actions always elicited laughter and praise from the people around, making Mom feel proud too.
At a vegetable stall, Mom carefully picked out tender spinach and bright red tomatoes, while Qiqi made a little discovery nearby—a lost little snail slowly crawling on a leaf. She cautiously nudged the snail with her nose, seemingly showing friendliness to this deliberate little creature, and then looked back at Mom with eyes full of childlike innocence and curiosity. Seeing this, Mom smiled, stroked Qiqi's head, and softly said, "Look, Qiqi, every life has its own pace and story."
Continuing on, they arrived at Qiqi's favorite meat bone stall. The vendor, a kind old man, was always enthusiastic when he saw Qiqi and would take out a specially prepared meat bone as a reward from under the stall. Qiqi excitedly circled around the old man, her tail wagging like a propeller, and emitting happy "woo-woo" sounds, drawing friendly glances from the people around. Mom smiled, paid for the meat bone, and handed it to Qiqi, who then found a clean spot nearby to gnaw on it with great satisfaction, her contented expression as if she had received the best gift in the world.
As the shopping bag gradually filled, the sun began to set, and mother and daughter embarked on the way home. Qiqi still walked beside Mom, occasionally looking up at her with eyes full of gratitude and happiness. On the way back, they would pass a small park where Qiqi would always pull Mom to play for a while, chasing fluttering butterflies or friendly greeting other dogs they encountered.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky turned a brilliant orange-red, elongating their shadows. In this peaceful and beautiful moment, Mom held the shopping bag in one hand and Qiqi's leash in the other, enjoying this simple yet heartwarming happiness. For Qiqi, every grocery shopping trip with Mom was a spiritual baptism, an exploration and experience of the infinite beauty of the world. And for Mom, Qiqi's companionship made every ordinary day filled with love and warmth, becoming an indispensable part of her life.
